Junior Development & Training

Our Junior Program welcomes youth ages 12–18, whether they’re rowing for fun or aiming to compete in local, regional, and national regattas. Guided by Rowing Canada’s Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model, we provide structured training that builds skills, confidence, and teamwork.

Our Juniors train year-round. From May to October, we row on the river, and from November to April, we train indoors with erg workouts and a rowing tank. Athletes can row in various boats, from singles to coxed eights, and those interested in racing can compete in age-specific and novice events.
