A Little About the High School Rowing Program

– – – – –

Local high school teams made up of both novice and experienced athletes have the opportunity to train and race in the sport of rowing over indoor and outdoor seasons. Indoor season commences in February and runs until the end of April. Throughout these winter months teams work out of the Edmonton Rowing Club’s indoor training facility on the rowing machines and in the tank. The indoor season ends with a competition on the rowing machines. Come May teams transition to the water where they row crew boats. The outdoor rowing season ends with an on water competition.
