Adult Learn to Row

  • 4 – 6 students per session

  • If you decide to join the club after completing the learn to row classes 100% of your registration fee is applied toward your first-year membership!

Youth Learn to Row – On Land

  • Maximum of 4 students per session
  • Ages 10 – 17
  • Students will learn and practice rowing techniques on the rowing machine and in our indoor training tank, in preparation for on-water rowing starting in May. The last class may take place on the water. 
  • Registration fee $160
  • If you decide to join the club after completing the learn to row classes, 100% of your registration fee is applied toward your first-year membership!

Youth Summer Camps

  • 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Based on demand, additional sessions may be added.
  • Ages 10 to 17
  • Small groups of youth with qualified coaches and engaging camp leaders
  • Includes learn to row lessons and other outdoor activities at our training facility and in the river valley parks.
  • Registration fee $300 per week; $100 of each week’s fee will be applied toward membership if the youth joins the club.
  • 10 available spaces per session.

Private Lessons

  • Private lessons will operate outside of ERC program times, at the availability of the coach.
  • Lessons can be scheduled between the following times, based on coach availability:
Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 3:00pm
Friday Optional, based on coach availability
Saturday & Sunday 12:00pm – 6:00pm
  • $100 for one non-ERC member, $80 for one ERC member, $60 for each additional person (up to a maximum of 4 people).
  • Minimum purchase of 3 lessons for non-members, members can purchase one or more lessons.
  • Each lesson will be 1.5 hours long, with 60 minutes on-water.
  • Private lessons can be purchased on the RCA Web Registration System.

Memberships

  • Our membership year is April 1 to March 31.
  • Until Covid 19 restrictions are lifted and competition resumes, we offer 2 levels of membership:
    • Dry land membership – $300. Provides access to year-round on-line training, and to indoor training once Covid 19 restrictions are relaxed to allow high intensity indoor fitness activities.
    • Full membership – $600. Provides the same access as the dry land membership, as well as on-water coached training from May through October.  Under current AHS rules regarding outdoor activities, most rowers will be using single shells.
    • Youth Membership- $375. Provides the same access as a full membership, for youth ages 10-17.
    • Members who purchase a dry land membership can upgrade at any time to a full membership.
    • Members contribute to the Club’s operations through volunteering at bingos and other club events. Details of bingo/volunteer requirements will be finalized if and when bingo halls resume operation and rowing competition resumes.
    • If regattas are sanctioned during the membership year, there may be additional fees for those training to compete.

Athlete Support Fund

  • If you are facing financial challenges and are unable to afford registration fees, the ERC may be able to assist. 
  • Contact our Community Programs Director to inquire about the Athlete Support Fund.
